Every gift to Scholarship Assistance Fund - Dollars for Scholars is more than financial aid - it's a key that unlocks education, career stability, and brighter futures for hardworking students.

This year's Opening Doors of Opportunity campaign celebrates the impact of every donor. Together, we're breaking down financial barriers and giving talented students the chance to walk through doors that once felt closed.

When you give, you're helping:

  • Open doors to higher education for students who might not otherwise afford it.
  • Transform entire families - many recipients are first-generation college students.
  • Create ripple effects of opportunity as graduates return to strengthen their communities.

Congratulations to our 2025-2026 Scholarship Recipients!

This year, we proudly awarded $56,000 in scholarships to 16 incredible students pursuing a wide range of futures-from mechanical engineering to esthetics, pre-med to education, and beyond. Among this year's recipients were 11 high school seniors, 4 current college students, and 1 vocational/trade student.

Since our inception in 1998 and including the current year, SAF has awarded a over of 240 scholarships for a grand total of almost $760,000!

Thank you to our donors, sponsors, and community supporters!

To our 2025 recipients: We can't wait to see where your journey leads. Keep striving, keep believing, and know that your community is behind you every step of the way.

Scholarship Applications for 2026-2027 are open!

You can start your profile for the 2026-2027 academic year at any time.

You can and should start your profile NOW.

The more time you spend with it, the better you will show yourself -- and that's what we want to see -- YOU.

To register online and begin the process, simply Click Here to Login

You will find the login page where you can register; students can get their profile started and parents can register and learn about their part in the scholarship process.

Students don't have to be juniors or seniors to fill out a profile for scholarships.  First, filling out your profile starting when you are freshman gives you a place to store data that might otherwise be hard to remember when you're a senior.  You can store job and club information, test scores, etc. in a secure place.  No more wondering where those test scores went!  Second, there are all types of scholarships - through our local chapter and nationally through Scholarship America - that are designated for continuing education; technical schools, undergraduate and graduate schools. Even if you are not "needs based" in applying for scholarships, there is still a potential to be awarded through Scholarship America.  Higher education is just that - an education that teaches beyond high school.  With your profile up and done, there is a whole world of education open to you! Visit Scholarship America's website for more information on their open scholarships.
